What I like about my job is the fact I wake up excited about coming to work. I get this great opportunity to come every morning and interact with all the great kids here at St. Francis Xavier school. I am most fortunate because I have the opportunity to work with children ages 3 to 14 daily. And no matter what is going on in my life when I come to work. One of the children will say something awesome that will ultimately put a smile on my face. I work with great parents who bring such great kids here for us to work with. I also LOVE the people I work with here at St. Francis Xavier, it's family here, and I feel so lucky to have a job I love!! I started work here at St. Francis Xavier as a recess monitor in 1996, I then moved over to E.D. in 2002. In 2003 I left St. Francis Xavier to go and take care of my son who had been diagnosed with A.L.L. Leukemia. I came back to work part-time in 2009, and was promoted to director in 2011. I truly love my job.

Special memory: Before my daddy past away 3 years ago. He took me fishing at Strawberry Lake. After about 3 hours of not one bite. I turn to go fill up my coffee cup. Next thing I know my dad is hollering "We got one". As I proceed to turn around and look. My dad has just flung the Rainbow trout out of the lake and right into the side of my face. 7 pounds of slimy fish lake right of the side of the face. I was so stunned, and the look on my Mom and Dad's face "PRICELESS". We never laughed so hard in our lives.
